Let’s talk about periods… or what about the STD’s you’ve had?
No one wants to have such an “embarrassing” or “awkward” conversation, right? This needs to change.
Idea - This campaign initiates the conversation that we all should be having. It aims to normalize women’s sexual health by bringing the discussion to unexpected platforms.
Let’s Talk.
To start, we’re going to bring our campaign to social scenes. What better place to have a discussion than at the bar with friends, or even a date. We have placed conversation worthy questions on bar coasters to help you get started.
Next, Flo will join forces with Bumble, the popular dating app. This collab offers singles a few starter questions so they can get talking about the important things that they normally wouldn’t bring up.
Twitter is the best social media platform to bring our campaign. Why? Because it’s the place where people open up, talk about their opinions, and engage in conversation with others. Flo will generate buzz with #LetsTalk, and encourage everyone to participate in the discussion.
Flo will put ads in a place where most people have time to spare… subway cars. These colorful ads will get the consumers attention and drive them to the conversation happening on Twitter. This will not only promote discussion on women’s health topics, but it will even give them something to do during their subway commute.
Now it’s time to get people talking. But where do people talk? And where do we tune in to watch people talk? Talk Shows.
Flo will partner with Jimmy Fallon for one week during Women’s History Month, 2021. Conversation surrounding women’s health will be brought to a national scale, with special guests including Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, and John Legend. We will both take to the streets and include the celebrity guests in popular late night segments about anything from STD’s to period cramps.
We will never truly normalize women’s health if we do not introduce the conversation to all. So... #LetsTalk
