BYOBag

Popular cities across the globe are starting to put a ban on all plastic bags. Now, more than ever, there is a need for reusable bags. The funny thing is, many people already own reusable bags! But they sit in the trunks of their cars and the bottom of their closets, never finding their way into stores.

Idea: Millennials get excited to bring their own booze to barbecues, birthday celebrations, or even restaurants. We want to get them excited about another BYOB: bringing their own bags anywhere and everywhere. Because BYOB doesn’t mean BYOB anymore.

BYOBag is a company we created, and a movement for those who want to make a difference. Logo design, branding, and merchandise mockups were all a big part of bringing this campaign to life. The only thing left to do is to get BYOBag out there.

Billboards will be placed in big cities, such as Los Angeles and New York, to spark the interest of our consumers who are on-the-go. Consumers will quickly realize that BYOB has a new meaning.

BYOBag will then meet Millennial consumers on their favorite social platforms: Instagram and Facebook. Posts will introduce the company, create excitement, and showcase all that BYOBag has to offer.

After scrolling through BYOBag’s social media, consumers will follow the link to our website and online store. BYOBag.com allows our eco-friendly customers to browse designs and purchase conveniently.

Customers have a wide variety of minimalistic designs to choose from.

Next, BYOBag will introduce their first store location in SoHo, New York. From celebrities to bloggers, and independent boutiques to trendy restaurants, SoHo is the perfect home for BYOBag’s first onsite shop. Aside from our SoHo location, BYOBag meets city lovers in their favorite marketplace. Attracting 6 million visitors annually, Chelsea Market is a hotspot in NYC.

Finally, we want to encourage our consumers to actually use their bag. What better time to do that than right before they enter their favorite shop or grocery store. We will sell bumper stickers that act as a fun last minute reminder, and a way to promote bringing your own bag.
